David K. Bernard is founder and pastor of New Life United Pentecostal Church of Austin, Texas, out of which have come 16 additional works. He is also superintendent of the South Texas District UPCI, president of Urshan Graduate School of Theology, and member of the General Board and Executive Board of the UPCI. A former college professor and a member of the State Bar of Texas, he earned a doctor of jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas, a master of theology from the University of South Africa, and a bachelor of arts magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University. The author of 30 books with circulation of about 700,000, he has been published in 35 languages and has ministered in 42 countries on six continents. He and his wife, Connie, have three children: Jonathan, Daniel, and Lindsey.
