Joe Tamel is the administrator for both Parkway Christian Academy and Parkway Church. He has Bachelor’s degrees in English and in Education, as well as a Masters in Administrative Leadership. Since schooling has become an addiction, he is currently attending seminary in Illinois.
Currently, his greatest challenge is rethinking church leadership and the expression of Christianity in postmodernity. Working from that perspective, he recently published his first book, Reluctant Horses, Broken Bridges, Magic Feathers and a Tossed Salad: A Postmod’s Struggles with Religion [Warning: shameless plug coming now...] which can be purchased on Amazon.com.
Joe is married and has three rambunctious children who constantly keep him young and occasionally cause him worry, and his myopic dream is to one day scratch records on the platform during a Parkway worship service.
