About Stephen Bujno PDF Print E-mail

ImageStephen Bujno is a proud husband of one woman and a father of three girls, an owner of one female dog, cat and rat, respectively [yes a rat]. You pronounce his last name BOY-no, really! Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, he and his then-newlywed wife moved to Lancaster County, PA, in 1989 where he now resides. Along with his wife, they operate a family business and retail store.

He began an adult education ministry entitled "Faith In A Nutshell" at the Redemptorist parish of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, where he is a parishioner. He also has taught Diocesan Accreditation classes for DRE's and RE's in his hometown Diocese of Harrisburg, PA. Being the Ecumenical Councilor for OMPH, he enthusiastically represents his parish at the local ministerium. Through this contact and other many conversations with both ministers and lay teachers of various denominations over the years, it has both enriched and enlightened his understanding of the nuances of the various Christian doctrines and expressions, lending insight into the many sad divisions that divide us as the Body of Christ.

He is currently a graduate student in the Religious Studies Department of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, intending to follow a Moral Theology tract. Hopes of pursuing a PhD follow, God willing! Personal interests further include Ante-Nicene history and Liturgical Theology.
