Maybe the question should be Will We Get Sick of This Guy?

When Bill Clinton ran in 1992, I listened.  He was a new kind of democrat..  Being from the south, he said all the right things, but something just didnt look right, so I voted for Bush then Doyle.

But obama.  My gosh.

Go Wright, Pflegar, Rezko, Iraq war positions, FISA, Gun bans, and on and on the mulitple positions.  He fires Johnson from his VP vetting team because of a Cheap Loan derived in the sub prime disaster and now guess what?

OBAMA GOT A CHEAP LOAN TOO, LIKE JOHNSON, LIKE DODD, LIKE CONRAD......

obama gets a good deal with the people he wholly criticized as being bad for America and he said it had to stop.  He got a cheap loan on the Rezko enabled property.

But we can be sure he doesnt recognize this CountryWide.  This isnt the CountryWide he knew.

When are the LEFT going to finally admit their candidate remains fatally flawed?

And the press will simply go on along.

Barack's their man.

Barack Obama got cheap loan to buy Chicago mansion

July 03, 2008

WASHINGTON: Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama received a discounted home loan in 2005, along similar lines to that received by a former adviser to his campaign who was forced to resign after it became public, The Washington Post revealed yesterday.

Tenac,

I'm still waiting for McCain to bring some serious weaponry to this campaign.  Quite easily, he could hang Obama on his changed platform ideas anytime he wants -- and there are many that he's changed.

I'm all about a candidate learning and changing his mind to accommodate new facts, but I get the impression he's not learning at all.  I get the impression he's appeasing.  He has been moving to the center on many positions lately, and it's rather contradictory considering his congressional voting record.  To me, he's the worst sort of politician.

Obama Fuels Pullout Debate With Remarks

By MICHAEL COOPER and JEFF ZELENY
Published: July 4, 2008

Senator Barack Obama said Thursday that he might “refine” his policies for Iraq after meeting with military commanders there later this summer. But hours later he held a second news conference to emphasize his commitment to the withdrawal of all combat troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office.

I cant see Americans tolerating this.

Obama is in a tough situation.  For certain, his position of a speedy withdrawal from Iraq is a populist message.  However, there is a real risk that if we extract our forces out of Iraq prematurely, it will offset the progress we fought so hard to achieve.

When asked the "what if" question about Al Qaeda or Al Sadr reestablishing a foothold in Iraq after a precipitous withdrawal, he is forced to say he would return for the sake of national security.  His withdrawal position is weak, and he know it.  It's McCain's job to show America how weak Obama's positions are -- or at least the ones he hasn't changed positions on.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed on  Obama,  I have been in Alaska for two weeks.

I for one am very sick of this guy, an empty suit seeking to be the leader of  the US.

His ploy on the recent bill on surveillance  illustrates his skill at obfuscation  and slimey politics.

Obama is a great politician, but will be a lousy chief executive if you look at his voting records.

Quote
Mr. Obama has been taking flak from his left flank for declaring his support for executive branch eavesdropping on terrorists overseas. During the primaries, Mr. Obama had promised to join a filibuster to kill it. But, lo, as the general election beckoned, he saw the light of Presidential power shine upon him and decided not to give John McCain an opening to call him soft on national security.

Obama tried to kill the bill by voting for three crippling amendments, one that would strip immunity for telecom companies.  But he did vote for the final bill.

So now he can tell the left that he voted to make it palatable to the left but was able to vote for the final bill   - - - that he knows he will need as president.

It is surprising to me that the public still is falling for this kind of obfuscation and downright  lying by a candidate for  President.

Obama's About Face on Undivided Jerusalem Complete
Rick Moran
Quote
At the American-Israeli Public Affairs Conference (AIPAC) meeting last month in Washington, Barack Obama said he supported the idea of Jerusalem as Israel's "undivided capitol."

That was then. This is now.

After pandering shamelessly to the Jewish vote, Obama has done a complete about face and now says that there was "poor phrasing" in that speech and that his campaign "immediately tried to correct the interpretation that was given."

His position today is quite different:

"The point we were simply making was that we don't want barbed wire running through Jerusalem, similar to the way it was prior to the '67 war, that it is possible for us to create a Jerusalem that is cohesive and coherent. I was not trying to predetermine what are essentially final-status issues."

This is a common Obama ploy when he flip flops; blame the "interpretation" of what he said for the problem not the words he spoke. The fact that he keeps getting away with this is maddening but something I suppose we should get used to.

I think the huge exposure he is getting (or buying) will destroy his chances of election.

The best case is his visit to Iraq.

Most  bleeding heart dims are for Obama because his position on Iraq,  He has consistently voted against the war and even the Surge.  Events have shown that he was wrong on both counts.

Obama will need to admit to these errors in judgment or reveal himself as a person who cannot change as events change.  If he does  change his position, he will alienate the left and enough will peel away  to cost him the election.  That will be bad for Barak but very good for America.

Of course, I am sick of Obama already, but I will watch with interest as he tries to deal with the challenge of Iraq.
