"President McCAin" has proposed 45 new Nuclear power plants.  This will have an enormous effect of our energy needs when built.

Obamanation says "45 power plants is ridiculous"  meaning of course that he stands by the liberal position of NO NUKES,  anywhere, ever.

Once again our most liberal senator pooh pooh's the number without taking a stand.  In fact he and the super libs have fought nucear power for years and have done all they can to prevent their development and of course the safe storage facility that we got under construction without the help of Liberal Democrats.

This fear and lack of confidence in American technology is another OBOMANATION.

It would seem to me that beginning construction of nuclear power plants would be an excellent way to go and at the same time drill for oil.

It wins everytime.

Building on the technologies from France with regard to nuclear power,  our needs for oil will diminish greatly while within ten years become an oil exporting nation.  China and India will be oil/coal based economies for some time, while fossil fuels become our back up sources of energy.

Last I looked France produced 70% of its electricity from Nuclear.

If we had the same approach as the French, we would be in the same place and we would be importing less oil.

Absolutely"  Drill here, Drill now, and Nukes everywhere (at least 45 of them)

Of course it's ridiculous. Why, those power plants won't be online for at least several years... so there's clearly no good reason to start building them now.

That makes liberal sense I know.  Unfortunately the Obama followers actually believes the logic you present as long as it comes from the mouth of the Messiah.

Is there anyone who opposes the construction of more nuclear power plants NOW??

Provided there is sufficient security and safety, I can't oppose it, no.

How many nuclear accidents have occurred in the past 10 years?  None to my knowledge

We are more technologically advanced than France and they have had no mishaps

We have a storage facility under construction that, if the dims don't kill the project,  will allow for the safe storage of nuclear materials that is not stored on site of existing power plants.  The dims use the "dangerous storage" line to prevent any new construction.

What an Obamanation
