Maybe this Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac debacle will finally wake up the US citizens that the problem with our government is our government?  The ones we elect to "watch" out for us?

Social Sec (which doesnt exist) and now these enormous, hybrid, public/private GOVT GUARANTEED mortgages.

The fed reserve, you realize, is allowed to loan $7 dollars for each $1 on deposit.  Now were there to begin a run on the banking system, do you think the govt could possibly cover?

I have long said the Fed needs to go.  The only way out of this could very well be.......

Listen to Chris Dodd over the next few weeks.  He will blame everything and everyone else.  HE is the Chairman of Banking, Housing Urban Develpment.
