Wanna convert to Hinduism? We could kill two birds with one stone-- it's mostly pantheistic plus I just love Indian food.

I think one conversion is enough. Maybe in my next incarnation...

VL says--
"Or, now this is really out there, one could question why there necessarily needs to be a distinction between "creator" and "creation" at all..."
That doesn't seem so "out there" to me.
(unless you mean out in the cosmos)

"I just love Indian food."
That's a pretty darn good reason to convert. I also love Lebanese food. What's their religion?

Muslim... but hey - you could join Hezbollah and STILL be elected to Parliament in Lebanon!

Better convert to Islam because the Christians have been leaving in droves.

We have a bet going as to when Islam will become the largest religion. I have $50 on less than three years.

Interesting how at the mention of "Muslim" you jumped immediately to a terrorist group.
As though of the 1+ billion Muslims you think that most of them are are terrorists?

I'll take that bet. You better be good for it.

Actually, it's because Hezbollah is a significant political force in Lebanon, with a serious voice in Parliament (about 11% of the seats in Parliament). They wield a lot of power and influence in Lebanon, and appeared in most newspapers around the world just last week when they violently rose up in protest of some moves made by the Lebanese government.
In other words, oh so observant one, I jumped at the mention of Lebanon.

I thought Islam was the largest religion. Or is it the fastest growing? Whichever, there's a bunch of them.

The statistics on growth are bandied about on both sides. As it stands now, out of a population of about 6 billion, 2 billion are Christian (1 billion of them Catholic), 1 billion are Muslim, and pretty close to a billion are Hindu. Buddhism I think is the next in line, but I don't know how many they have.
