'view first unread'?

Maybe I've missed it but does this forum have a 'view first unread' option? I think that's an essential one since I always like to start reading a thread from where I left last time! Otherwise it's too confusing and too time-consuming to look up that place.

I think the closest thing we have to that is the "show new replies to your posts" feature. Once you click it, it lists the thread where posters have posted after your last post.

But is there a way to get to the newest post since the last time I was there? Otherwise I have to look it up page by page, that's tedious ...

You're creating quite the ripple, aren't you? :-)
I'll look into it.

Alright. At the top of the forum page next to your avatar and username, there is "show new replies to your post." Click on that, and it should pull up all the threads you posted on previously. On the right side of some threads, there will be a small white box with the word "new." If you click on that box, it will take you to where you want to go.

Anywhere you see the word "New" on a thread, you can click the word and it will take you to the first unread post of the thread.
This should work properly whether you are scanning through the board, or even looking at your bookmarks.

Ok, works fine! Thanks.
If your site gets an 'advanced textbox' now then I'm nearly converted

I'm working on it... that's the "WYSIWYG editor" I mentioned in another thread...
It's just a little more complicated than it may seem, so in order to implement it we may have to jump through a few hoops.
