Well, here's two changes I think will greatly improve the forum:
1.  Come up with "standards of conduct" for all MODERATORS, and publish them prominently, as in with a sticky.
2.  Forbid any one moderator from ever banning any poster at his whim alone; no less than 2, but preferably, 3 or more, should review the post(s) in question and come to a consensus first.  This would be more just, and in keeping with "out of the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses shall every word be established," and certainly also prevents the tendency to megalomania that the power-mad often exercise; I've found that the old saying "If you want to truly test a man's character, give him a little money or a little power, and observe what he does with each(or both)".

Warmest regards-

Hatman

I think the modertors are doing a good job

I suspect Hatman has specific gripe and I hope that there is a vehicle to discuss these issues.

Many of us are here because of Bnet abuses in this area.

What sub-forums did you post in on Bnet? I've not witnessed such abuse ...

I posted under NJLee, and my comments about Islam were found to be unacceptable to the Muslims and they pursuaded the moderators to change the rules and give Muslims special priveledges that clearly violated my right to speak.

I posted for years and that was the only problem that I had with Bnet and was never even cautioned otherwise.

Ah ok, well, I've never been to the Muslim board.

That is a good thing

I wish we had one here and/or had more Muslims who were willing to discuss Islam frankly.

ABsolutely. You can join me in discusing Christians views of the OT if you like.
